As a reminder, our office monitors VHF Channel 9.
Boater Obligations
Buzzards Bay is a "No Discharge" Zone. As such, you are forbidden from discharging your holding tank within our waters. We provide free pump-out service.
As a boater in Dartmouth, you are required to obey all local, state and federal Rules and Regulations.
Padanaram Harbor is a "No Wake" zone. While in the harbor, please keep your speed below 5 MPH and keep your wake to a minimum. There is an area North of the Bridge (West side of harbor) designated for Water skiing and other activities.
Transient Boaters
There are Transient moorings available South of the Padanaram Bridge from The New Bedford Yacht Club, Concordia Inc. and Davis and Tripp.
Boaters may tie dinghys at the Town Dock (North of the Bridge on the East side) for a period of no more than 2 hours.
